Latest Update:  The SCMHRD Pune MBA Program are currently accepting applicants through the SNAP 2023 exam. Registration for SNAP 2023 has now opened, and the deadline to submit an application is November 23, 2023. The SNAP examination for 2023 is scheduled to take place between December 10 and December 22, 2023.

Admission to the SCMHRD MBA program is based on a cumulative performance of the candidate in the SNAP exam, Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Exercise, and Personal Interaction (GEPI). The SNAP cutoff for MBA is 95 percentile.

SCMHRD Pune Admission Process

It is mandatory for all Indian students to sign up for the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) and to take part in the examination. The candidate needs to make up her mind well in advance regarding whether or if she will take the SNAP test once or twice. Without a current and accurate SNAP score, no applicant will be considered for admission to the MBA Programmes offered by SCMHRD.

SCMHRD MBA Admission 2024

The Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD) provides a range of academic program, including a two-year General Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, as well as specialised program in Infrastructure Development and Management (IDM) and Business Analytics (BA). The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program offers a total of 180 seats, while the MBA in Innovation, Design, and Management (MBA-IDM) and the MBA in Business Analytics (MBA-BA) programmes each have 60 seats available.

*The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is the primary curriculum offered by the Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD). This two-year, full-time residential degree is structured into four semesters.

• In order to be considered eligible, candidates are required to have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree programme with a minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for candidates belonging to the SC/ST category).
• Final year individuals are eligible to apply for this opportunity; however, they are required to achieve a minimum of 50% marks in their undergraduate degree (45% for candidates belonging to the SC/ST category).

In order to be considered eligible, candidates are required to possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE), Technology (B.Tech), or Planning (B.Plan) with a minimum of 50% marks. However, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories are eligible with a minimum of 45% marks.

SNAP Exam Pattern

• The duration of the SNAP Exam has been shortened from 120 minutes to 60 minutes.
• The examination will be conducted in a computerised format.
• The examination will consist of five specialised questions within the Quantitative, Data Interpretation, and Data Sufficiency section.
• The SNAP exam, also known as the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, is a highly regarded academic assessment conducted by Symbiosis. The syllabus has not been officially provided by Southern Illinois University (SIU) and is thus derived from earlier iterations.
• A single mark is granted for a correct response, but a deduction of 0.25 marks is imposed for an incorrect answer as a form of negative marking.

Steps to Apply for an MBA

Individuals have the opportunity to complete the registration process for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Programme (SNAP) by accessing the official SNAP website.

• Please select the ’Register’ option.
• Upon thorough examination of the provided instructions, it is advised to proceed by selecting the ’I Agree’ option in order to express consent towards the Terms and Conditions.
• Please provide the necessary information.
• Please provide the preferred location for the examination.
• Please proceed by selecting the ’Save & Continue’ option.
• Upon successful completion of the OTP verification process, candidates will receive an email and SMS containing their unique SNAP ID and password.
• The SNAP ID provided will serve as the primary means of communication for all matters pertaining to the online aptitude test and admission process.
• Please ensure that the non-refundable registration cost of INR 1,950/- for the SNAP test is paid prior to the specified deadline.
• Upon the release of the SNAP Result, individuals can proceed to register for the MBA programme by utilising their SNAP ID and password on the official website of SCMHRD.
• Please ensure that all the details are filled accurately and correctly.
• Please remit the registration cost for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme, amounting to INR 1,000/-, using the online payment portal.

In case of payment by Demand Draft, the candidate must submit a Demand Draft of INR. 1750/- from any Nationalized Bank in favor of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.

SCMHRD Executive MBA Admission 2023

The SCMHRD Executive MBA programme is designed specifically for working professionals located in and around Pune, with a duration of 30 months. The individuals who choose to participate in the course will attend lessons on weekends, with each class lasting for a duration of 8 hours per day.

1. In order to be eligible, candidates are required to have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks. However, for candidates belonging to the SC/ST category, a minimum of 45% marks is acceptable.
2. In addition, it is required that individuals possess a minimum of two years of full-time professional experience following their graduation, which must be obtained within a recognised firm, company, industry, educational institution, government agency, or autonomous organisation.

SCMHRD Executive MBA Selection Criteria

1. Selection is based on Skype interviews, conducted after registration and payment.
2. The process of applying for an Executive MBA programme involves several steps that prospective candidates must do.

4. Please use the "New Users Registration" button and proceed to input the necessary information into the provided online application form.
5. Please carefully review the Terms and Conditions and proceed to click on the "I Agree" button in order to indicate your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.

7. Please proceed by selecting the "Save and Continue" option located at the lower section of the page.
