SSN College of Engineering (SSNCE), Chennai Admission
SSN College of Engineering admissions are open for UG and PG courses. It offers B.Tech, B.E, B.Tech Lateral Entry, M.Tech, and M.E courses. Candidates who are considering admission to SSN College of Engineering in 2025 can apply by visiting the official website. The entire SSNCE Application Process is conducted online.
SSN College of Engineering Admission is entrance-based. Candidates must qualify for the TNEA Counseling for B.Tech Admission while on the other hand, GATE or TANCET exam for M.Tech admission. Furthermore, candidates can also apply for admission directly through the Management Quota. Candidates graduating from this college will receive a degree from Anna University.

SSN College of Engineering Admission 2025: B.Tech
SSN College of Engineering offers admissions through two modes:
Government Quota: Admissions under the government quota are handled through the Anna University single-window system known as TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions). The shortlisted candidates are required to sit through the TNEA counseling procedure conducted by the university.
Management Quota: Admissions under the management quota are entirely merit-based.

SSNCE B.Tech Fee Structure for Management Quota Admissions
The fee structure at SSN College of Engineering adheres to the guidelines set by the Fee Fixation Committee. The annual fee difference between the management and government quotas is approximately Rs. 70,000. A detailed breakdown of the Fees will be shared with students at the time of admission through their registered email addresses.

SSN College of Engineering Admission 2025: M. Tech/ ME
SSN College of Engineering offers M. Tech and M. E. at the postgraduate level and admission to these two programs is done based on the merit in GATE/TANCET entrance examinations.
These programs are offered under several specializations that help interested candidates choose the field they wish to pursue their career in.
- Candidates seeking admission to the postgraduate programs offered by the college must hold a valid score in the GATE or TANCET entrance examinations.
- A valid score in GATE or TANCET would get students through the admission procedure.
- Final shortlisting is done based on the merit in the qualifying examination.
Minimum Educational Qualification
- Candidates seeking admission to B. E. and B. Tech must have passed senior secondary school with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized university.
- For admission to M. E. and M. Tech, the candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree i.e. B. E./B. Tech from a recognized university.
- The candidates must hold a valid score in GATE or TANCET to be eligible for admission to M. E. or M. Tech.

SSN College of Engineering invites applications for its PhD program for the January 2025 session across various Anna University Recognised Research Centers, including Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. Full-time scholars with a consistent academic record of 70% and above since the 10th standard will receive a stipend and accommodation benefits.
