Students who are seeking admission in 2 year BEd B.Ed program at the School of Engineering and Technology - IGNOU should meet the following eligibility criteria.

1) Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, and 2) The following categories are eligible to be the students of B.Ed. (ODL): (i) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education. Or (ii) Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to- face mode. The reservation and relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government/State Government, whichever is applicable.

• The payment of fees should be made either in cash or a Demand Draft issued in favor of School of Engineering and Technology - IGNOU.
• Candidates need to issue a draft in favor of the university to pay the course fee.
• The university also accepts Internet banking or payment through debit and credit cards.
• Candidates can directly transfer money from their bank account to the university's bank account through NEFT, RTGS, and IMPS without physically visiting the School of Engineering and Technology - IGNOU campus.
