Courses	Eligibility
B.Sc/B.Com/B.A	The students must have passed the Higher Secondary [10+2] Examination with a minimum of 50%, 45% in case of SC/ST Students in General conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination conducted by other State Board/Council, or The W.B. Council of Rabindra Open Schooling, or The National Institute of Open Schooling [NIOS] recognized by the Distant Education Bureau[DEB]. Or Must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination from the vocational stream conducted by the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development [WBSCTVE&SD] or any other equivalent Board/Council.
M.A	The student must have a qualified M.A. in Bengali; applicants should possess three years Of Graduate Honours Degree following the 10+2+3 system with 45% marks in Honours Major Subject. Admission Tests will be conducted for PG courses for applicants from other Universities as well as applicants of Home University who do not secure admission in the Home University Category [60%]
