Rajasthan School of Art was established in 1857 by Maharaj Sawai Ram Singh II in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is a Post-graduate college for Visual Art. The college is affiliated with the University of Rajasthan. It is the oldest educational institution in Rajasthan promoting Art and Culture in the state. This college is run under the administrative control of the Directorate, College Education, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur. There are three departments managed by the college that include Painting, Applied Art, and Sculpture. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs that include a B.V.A at the UG level and an MVA at the PG level. Admission to the UG program is based on merit marks obtained in the examination. Admission to the PG programs is based on the entrance examination - URATPG.
