Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses to students. The course under the undergraduate degree is the MBBS program as mentioned on the website. Apart from this, it presents postgraduate courses like Physiology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Pharmacology. The undergraduate programme has a total of 150 seats which includes 85% state quota and 15% All India Quota. There are two seats per course for the postgraduate level except for Pharmacology and Community Medicine with one seat. The PG courses have an allotted percentage of 50% for both the State Quota and the Indian Quota. 

The candidates interested in joining this institution must write the NEET PG entrance exam to be a part of the admission process. The students must follow the eligibility criteria to qualify as a student in Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences:

• ·        MBBS: 10 + 2 passed with an aggregate of 50% minimum in Physics, Chemistry and Biology
• ·        MD/MS: MBBS degree or equivalent.

There are 150 seats available for the undergraduate program, with 85% going to state quotas and 15% going to all-India quotas. For postgraduate courses, there are two seats available, with the exception of community medicine and pharmacology, which each have one seat. 50% of the State Quota and the All-India Quota are allocated to PG courses. After being qualified for the NEET entrance exam the shortlisted candidates will then be requested to take part in the Karnataka NEET PG Counseling which is managed by the Karnataka Examination Authority.
