"NSUT admission is hard to get in as the process is very competitive. The cutoff is comparably high. Getting 85 percentile in JEE Main is not enough to get admission into NSUT as it accepts 95+ percentile for admission."

"Can I get NSUT with 95 percentile?"

"For General category candidates, the NSUT JEE Main cutoff is generally 200 or 99+ percentile. Those belonging to the reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC) need to have at least 95+ percentile as the cutoff is often below 10,000. Getting admission into NSUT is only possible if one has a rank of 30,000 or above or has secured at least 75 percentile."
