National Law University, Delhi Highlights:

National Law University, Delhi was established in 2008 in the National Capital Territory of Delhi with the initiative of the High Court of Delhi. National Law University, Delhi (NLUD) is one of India’s national law universities which is now located in Dwarka’s Sector-14. It offers both undergraduate and graduate courses. NLUD is a national law school that follows the five-year law degree model suggested and executed by the Bar Council of India. The Chief Justice of India will serve as the university’s guest, the Chief Justice of the High Court of Delhi will serve as the university’s chancellor, and the vice-chancellor will serve as the chief administrator, according to the National Law University Act, 2007. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked it 2nd among law colleges in 2022. It was inaugurated by our then President of India, Pratibha Patil. The college started functioning in 2008 from temporary buildings. By 2010, the college had completed its construction and was fully functional.

The National Law University Delhi commonly shortened as NLUD commenced its establishment in the academic year of 2008. The institute has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with Grade ‘A’. Besides NAAC, the university has also been recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university is well known for offering various programs at several levels in the field of Law.
