National Law University , Cuttack Highlights 2024
National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA) is a public university devoted to the study of law. It was created in 2009 as a result of an Act (Assam Act XXV of 2009) approved by the Assam State Legislature. The university may be found in Guwahati, India’s Assam state. The NLUJAA offers law programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate levels.
Two official biannual publications are currently published by the institution, one of which is administered by student editors and the other by faculty editors. The university also publishes "The Lost Stories," a student publication. An agreement between NLUJAA and IDIA, a group dedicated to educating and training the less fortunate members of society. Around 15 academics are presently pursuing PhD degrees at the university, which offers a program in research. The institution offers placement programs as a component of the academic curriculum to give students the chance to see and comprehend social realities.

NLUJAA Admission
NLUJAA Admission Procedure are given below
Eligibility
Candidates must have passed their Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in order to be eligible for admission to the LL.B. (5 Year Integrated) course at NLUJAA.
students must have completed a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST students) in order to be eligible for admission to the LL.B. (3 Year) course at NLUJAA.
Applicants must have earned an LL.B. degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 55% marks (or 50% for SC/ST applicants) in order to be eligible for admission to the LL.M. program at NLUJAA.
Steps for Admission to NLUJAA:
- Register for the CLAT exam.
- Take the CLAT exam.
- Check your CLAT results.
- Apply for admission to NLUJAA.
- Attend the counseling process.
Counseling Process:
- The CLAT Consortium manages the admissions counseling process for NLUJAA.
- Depending on their CLAT rank, candidates are invited to the counseling procedure.
- Candidates will be assigned seats at NLUJAA during the counseling process based on their CLAT rank, category, and preferences.
