NLU Assam Admission
NLU Assam Admission procedure is given below:
- Join the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) waiting list. For admission to undergraduate and graduate law institutions in India, applicants must pass the CLAT exam. The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU), which includes NLU Assam, administers the test.
- Attend the CLAT test. Typically, the first week of December is when the CLAT exam is administered. English Language Comprehension, Current Affairs, Legal Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques, and Logical Reasoning are the five areas that make up the exam.
- Verify your CLAT scores. Within a few weeks of the exam, the CLAT results are often released. On the official CLAT website, you can review your results.
- Register with NLU Assam. You can apply to NLU Assam if you received a good enough CLAT score. The NLU Assam application procedure normally takes place in January.
- Show up for the counseling session. After submitting your application to NLU Assam, you will receive an invitation to a counseling session. Based on your CLAT score and other considerations, a seat at NLU Assam will be assigned to you at the counseling session.
- Entrance fees must be paid. The entrance fees must be paid when you have been given a place at NLU Assam. Depending on your category, NLU Assam has different entry costs.
NLU Assam Eligibility Criteria
- You must have passed the Class 12 examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST categories) in order to be eligible for admission to the BA LLB (Hons.) Five-Year Integrated Course at NLU Assam.
- You must have passed the LLB Three-Year / Five Year Integrated Degree Examination from any university whose degree is recognized by the University Grants Commission as well as by NLU Assam with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities) in order to be eligible for admission to the LLM One-Year Course at NLU Assam.
