National Institute of Technology (NIT Rourkela), Rourkela, Odisha Admission
NIT Rourkela is one of the top of the 31 NITs present in India situated in Orissa. It provides B.Tech. in 12 disciplines and PG in four different courses. The different courses provided by the NIT Rourkela are:

NIT Rourkela UG Courses
Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate should have attained 17 years of age on the date of admission.
- The candidate seeking admission in the B.Tech. from NIT Rourkela should have done XII from a recognized board/institute/school with at least 75% aggregate in Physics, Maths, and Chemistry.
- The candidate should be in the top 20 Percentile of XII according to the merit in XII.
Admission Procedure:
- The admission in the B.Tech. provided by the NIT Rourkela is done on the basis of merit obtained in the JEE Main.
- The final merit is made on the basis of merit obtained in the XII(40%) and merit obtained in JEE Main(60%).
- The seat allotment is done through counseling done by JoSSA-CSAB.

Placement: For Core and Circuital branches, it is awesome. The average CTC for them is almost about 7 LPA. For the new branches like Biomedical, Biotechnology there are no core companies for them. They receive job offers mainly in IT sectors offering 3.3 to 3.5 LPA
