NIT Rourkela is one of the top of the 31 NITs present in India situated in Orissa. It provides B.Tech. in 12 disciplines and PG in four different courses. The different courses provided by the NIT Rourkela are:

NIT Rourkela UG Courses

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate should have attained 17 years of age on the date of admission.
The candidate seeking admission in the B.Tech. from NIT Rourkela should have done XII from a recognized board/institute/school with at least 75% aggregate in Physics, Maths, and Chemistry.
The candidate should be in the top 20 Percentile of XII according to the merit in XII.

Admission Procedure:

The admission in the B.Tech. provided by the NIT Rourkela is done on the basis of merit obtained in the JEE Main.
The final merit is made on the basis of merit obtained in the XII(40%) and merit obtained in JEE Main(60%).
The seat allotment is done through counseling done by JoSSA-CSAB.

NIT Rourkela PG Courses

Eligibility Criteria:

M.Tech.	The candidate seeking admission in the M.Tech. from NIT Rourkela should have done B.Tech. in the relevant discipline with at least 60% aggregate.
MBA	The candidate seeking admission in the MBA should have done Graduation from a recognized college/institute in any discipline with at least 60% aggregate.
M.Sc.	The candidate seeking admission in the M.Sc. should have done B.Sc. from a recognized university/institute with at least 50% aggregate.
MA	The candidate should have done Bachelors from a recognized college/institute.

Admission Procedure:

It have a good infrastructure and placed near a hill. It is the 2 largest technical college in India(in terms of area). It has a swimming pool, night playground, Great library, etc. It is ranked 2 among all NIT and it is ranked 15 among all technical coll

Admission: For B.tech JEE MAINS is the entrance exam for admission. The admission procedure is carried out by JOSSA.
