NIT Hamirpur is well know college for engineering .It has good placement, friendly teachers, environment is also very cool.

Placement: Internship and placement oppurtunities are good

Poor faculty especially the contract ones. Excellent infrastructure and sports facilities. Moderate internet speed but tougher access at 1st and 2nd year. Still follows outdated curriculum and lack of practical exposure. TIFAC Core is world class lab

Placement: College fails to provide quality Internships to the students. Mostly are self arranged, and that too in public firms like BHEL, NHPC, Sub stations. Placements are above average and a few are really dashing.

Faculty: Dr. R.Nath Sharma, He is having profound knowledge about communication systems. No issue about attendance and he is only concerned about learning.
