NIT Delhi Scholarships

• National Scholarships: Awarded to students by the Government of India (GoI) who have scored proficient in their qualifying exams.
• State Scholarships: These scholarships are awarded by the state governments to students who have scored in their qualifying exams.

NIT Scholarship Eligibility

The candidate’s category and family income determine their eligibility for NIT fee assistance. Candidates who fall under the SC/ST/PwD categories are excused from paying tuition, according to the NIT pricing structure for 2023. Candidates from the General/OBC category who hail from families with an annual income of less than INR 1 lakh are also exempt from paying tuition. Candidates from the General/OBC categories who hail from families with an annual income between INR 1 lakh and INR 5 lakh must pay a third of the tuition. Candidates from the General/OBC categories must pay the full tuition fees if their family’s yearly income exceeds INR 5 lakh.

Candidates must present their caste and family income certificate from the State Government at the time of admission to be eligible for the NIT fee benefits.

NIT Delhi Admission
