The National Institute of Fashion Technology is a group of institutes conducting fashion courses in India. The NIFT Delhi was established in the academic year of 1986. The institute is affiliated with the Ministry of Textiles and was established with the approval of the Government of India. Students who get admission to NIFT Delhi can apply for the scholarship program when their academic session starts. The students are shortlisted for scholarships based on the merit list. The scholarship criteria are 

• College Merit-based Scholarship and University Merit-based Scholarship. 
• Students belonging to economically weaker sections are provided with fee concessions as decided by the college administration.
