MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT), Bangalore Admission Details
Admission Procedure:
The institute offers various postgraduate programs in the fields of Management, Computer Science, Technology, and Sciences. The application mode for all the courses can be accomplished online by visiting the institute's official website. The application procedure usually starts in March.
- Admission to M. Tech requires a bachelor's degree in B. E./ B. Tech in the relevant field securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
- Candidates seeking admission to an MBA must possess a 3-year bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate in all three years from a recognized university.
- For admission to M. Sc, the candidates must possess an engineering degree in the relevant field.
- The institute offers M. Tech, MBA, MCA, and M. Sc. at the postgraduate level.
- Admission to M. Tech is done based on the merit in PGCET i.e. Post Graduate Common Entrance Test. The entrance examination is conducted by the Government of Karnataka.

Minimum Eligibility:
Ramaiah Institute of Technology provides postgraduate courses in M.Tech, MBA, and MCA. The duration of these full-time courses is two years. RIT Bangalore's M.Tech program offers a range of specialty choices to its candidates. However, the applicant has to have a B.E./B. Tech degree in the same field as his M. Tech program in addition to a qualifying score from the PGCET or GATE in order to be admitted to the M. Tech program. Candidates for MBA and MCA programs must take and pass one of the admission tests, KMAT or PGCET.

Candidates are required to hold a B.E./B.Tech Degree in the specific discipline for which they want to pursue M.Tech, with a minimum aggregate of 50%. For Karnataka SC/ST/Category-1 candidates the minimum aggregate is 45%.
