College: The mcmdav college for women faculty is awesome. The teachers never said no to any questions. For bca, i recommend this college because here,more than theory practical knowledge gives more importance.$canteen food is normal not so good. prices are high as compared to other colleges.
Exam: nothing.

Placement: There is a placement cell in the college which provides us with the details of the placement drives going on.
College: The college provides a really good environment for us students to study and the teachers are knowledgeable and not just in their domain but all throughout. They help us in every aspect of our life and guide us throughout our graduation. Our English professor Dr. Jasmine Anand always teaches us beyond our subject so that we are prepared for the real world.There are no big cons to the college.
Exam: College provides their own special notes for some subjects other than that PU prescribed books are good with simple language.

A college worth joining!!

College: The college is overall good and comparatively better than most colleges in Chandigarh. It also provides a good campus which at that price range isn’t offered by many others. The teachers are also pretty helpful and knowledgeable. The college aims at overall development of students. And I’m blessed to be a part of it.

Reasons why I chose this college

Placement: I don’t know much about placements.
Faculty: Dr. Gurjeet Virk Sidhu is my favourite teacher. They teach us sociology. Their teaching style is amazing.
College: The college has good faculty with very helpful and understanding teachers. It is one of the best for arts humanities studies. The teachers are there to guide you. This college is only for the women and it is affiliated to Punjab University and it is located at sector 36 of Chandigarh. Campus of college is very nice. This college gives students many opportunities to get involved in many co curricular activities.
Exam: Addmission are based on 12th class board result.

My experience

Placement: Ya college conduct some of webinar classes about internships,,placement but I haven’t joined till yet
Faculty: 1=Dr. Sheffali garg (evs),, I really like her teaching because along with book knowledge she also provides us external knowledge and shares her life experiences. 2 =Rohini kanwar mam is also a good teacher 3=Ekta jain mam ,, she clears our doubts and her teaching quality and methodology is great.
College: Due to current pandemic situation,,I personally have not been able to visit my college yet . But I am attending online classes and I came to know that all my teachers and other staff members are really supportive and nice .They clear our doubts and take our class exactly according to the time table and due to this we never face any problem in our academics . Apart from this they also share their own experience of college. There are also so many extra curricular activities in the college . Good practical performing labs also . In nut shell ,, I would like to say that I am very much satisfied with this college and its totally worth it..

College: My college is best , it has many curricular activities which we enjoy freely and teachers are also hardworking , always give tine to students for their doubts, in this college , first periority is students and college’ building is also beautiful

MCM DAV College, sector 36, Chandigarh reviews

Faculty: I don’t have just one favourite teacher. There are many. Presently, the college is taking both online and offline classes. I am attending online. Classes are being taken on Google meet and classroom. Teachers share the screen on google meet and teach. Teachers also share the notes on regular basis and till now, touchwood, i haven’t faced any problem regarding the teaching quality.

Faculty: I would say there are few teachers which really teaches well but i am very disappointed by the faculty.
