Maulana Azad College of Engineering & Technology was established in 1988. It is affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college was established by the Millat Education Society. It was ranked among the top 20 best colleges in Eastern India by the Hansa Weekly Survey.
Maulana Azad College of Engineering and Technology (MACET) courses include B. Tech and B. Tech (Lateral Entry). The courses are offered in several specializations, namely, computer science, civil, mechanical, electrical & electronics, electronics & communication, etc. The minimum eligibility to take admission to B.Tech course is that candidate should have passed 10+2 in Science with minimum 45% aggregate of marks or 3-year diploma with minimum 45%.
