Engineering courses are available at Marian Engineering College Thiruvananthapuram. Marian Engineering College Thiruvananthapuram admissions are based on a series of entrance tests. The comprehensive description of all courses and the admission procedure and other data are provided below.

For Undergraduate Courses

• Applicants must be Indian citizens.
• The college has provided B.Tech courses in five different fields for four years.
• Applicants must have completed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate grade of 50%.
• Applicants must pass the Engineering Entrance Exam, KEAM 2020, administered by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Government of Kerala.
• Applicants must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2020. 

For Postgraduate Courses

• Applicants must be Indian citizens.
• The M.Tech program at the college lasts two years.
• The applicant must have at least 60% aggregate in the engineering degree exams.
• Applicants must have taken GATE and obtained qualifying marks.

Marian Engineering College Placements

The institution has a highly qualified and accredited staff of placement specialists who are involved in employment market analyses on a regular basis. It has several affiliations with managing corporate enterprises around the country. The On-Campus Placement activities are handled by the College’s Career Guidance and Placement Unit (CGPU). CGPU prefers to work with students and the industrial community to create an Industry-Institution Interaction. In partnership with the Department of Humanities and core departments, the Career Guidance and Placement Unit (CGPU) organizes on-campus and off-campus recruitments as well as pre-placement training programs in Aptitude tests, Group Discussions, Interviews, and presenting skills. Students can also prepare for mock interviews in college.

Marian Engineering College Scholarships

Marian Engineering College Scholarships for KEAM 2020 (Government and Management Seats):

Scholarship for Merit Cum Means:

• The scholarship is provided by the Government of India’s Ministry of Minority Affairs.
• The qualifying requirements are over 50% in 10+2. Christian and Muslim students are qualified applicants.
• Financial eligibility - Family income must be less than Rs.250000, and the scholarship amount will be Rs.30000 for hostelers and Rs.25000 for day students.

Scholarship under the Central Scheme: 

• This scholarship is provided by the Government of India’s Department of Higher Education.
• Eligibility requires a 10+2 grade point average of at least 80%. Christian, Hindu, and Muslim students are all eligible.
• Financial Eligibility - Family income should be less than Rs.600,000 (Non-Creamy Layer), and the scholarship amount would be Rs.20000.

Scholarship Based on 10+2 Marks: 

• If the candidate received a perfect mark in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in HSE (State Syllabus), the scholarship amount will be Rs.40000.
• The scholarship amount will be Rs.40000 if the candidate gets 95% or higher in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the CBSE or ISC Syllabus.
