Placement: The placements here is a student committee managed activity. LIBA has always achieved a 100% placement. The placements are diverse although LIBA has been the favourite for IT, BFSI and Analytics industry, with some of the the very best companies coming in for recruitment every year. Marketing is the most opted course in the college, followed closely by Finance (including students who take up dual specialisation).
Faculty: All the professors here are well qualified (PhD or higher) with ample years of teaching experience. But it’s the way of departing the teaching which makes LIBA special. It’s never monotonous. Always dynamic with theory, games, presentations and practical assignments which enables a holistic understanding of the subject.
College: Let’s start by accepting the inevitable truth, LIBA molds you, to be the best you can be. And the good thing, it all happens as you are turning into a full fledged Management Graduate. Situated in the heart of Chennai, inside the lush green and vast Loyola College Campus, LIBA offers one of the best management programs in the country with one of the best ROI. The faculty of this institute go beyond the realm of professors by helping each and every student in every way possible, to reach the common goal of the institute - Excellence and Ethics. The curriculum is diverse and involves ample amount of practical and outbound learning. Managed by the Jesuits, ethics is a virtue here, which gets embedded in each and every student of this institute. Probably one of the very few B-Schools which offer dual specialisation (optional, but most students take this up to enjoy the best of two specialisations at once! ), LIBA stands out from the others in this aspect too. All said and done, life at LIBA is particularly cherish-able. With the right balance of studies - applications - presentations - management fests - events - celebrations - sports. It just teaches you how to manage time, which is precious of all the resources. By all means, a journey to remember and to be proud of.

Placement: The college is known for its 100% placement (though there are students who opt out for higher studies and other reasons).
The placement committee comprises of 24 members(12 1st year students and 12 second year students). These people work painstakingly for the sake of the entire batch of students in college. They take into account the students preferences and choices and leverage their contacts and actively seek out newer companies so as to meet the demands of the students who want to be placed in certain industries. For example, in my batch, majority of the students did not want to be placed in IT companies and this year, the Placement team saw to it that only 2 IT companies came to visit us with job roles suitable to the courses the students had studied. Finance roles and marketing roles saw an exponential boost in our placements this year and the entire batch is extremely happy with the outcome.
In short, yes, the job opportunities exceeded my expectations.
Faculty: The amazing thing about the teachers here are that each one of them has a unique style of teaching. There are some brilliant guest lecturers who have the most unique teaching styles but my favorite remains Dr. Indira, the Associate Professor Economics and Management. Her teaching style is a blend of traditional teaching and experiential learning.
The projects she gives us are simple, yet complex, requiring us to apply basic concepts to real time situations and problems. She takes great pains to monitor each student and their projects and provides constructive feedback every time. She uses our own projects to steer the rest of her course and it becomes an overall fruitful and immersive learning experience.
College: Having worked for 3 years, I was pretty apprehensive about how college life was going to turn out. Little did I know that it was going to create memories for a lifetime. In a place like Chennai, coming across people from diverse backgrounds and from various parts of India is not very commonplace, but that is precisely what you see at LIBA. The learning experience you get from a diverse crowd definitely, adds value to the whole MBA experience. A great thing about LIBA is the affordability of the course. Probably one of the best ROIs for MBA Graduation investments. LIBA is within the sprawling Loyola campus. Being run the Jesuit fathers, it goes without saying that this is a no-nonsense place. However, it is comforting that the management recognises the difference between students and adults and they give us our necessary space. With 120 students per batch and with over 20 in house faculty members, the student to faculty ratio is pretty good. This allows for great mentoring by the faculty. I have personally benefitted alot from this. The infra is not on par with the best of colleges but the brilliant faculty makes up for it. You might wonder how the two go hand in hand but it’s amazing what a brand name like Loyola can do.
The best part about LIBA is the people. It’s a big little family and we love our college despite its little shortcomings. As every Libaite would say. In LIBA, "Life Is Beyond Amazing".

Placement: Yes the Placements and Internships do meet the expectations and in case of freshers it quite often exceeds the expectations of the students. One of the most important factors of deciding on a college would be ROI. LIBA definitely provides a very good ROI and has a great value for money,
Faculty: If asked who is my favorite; mom or dad? I would say both, which the truth! The same applies to the faculty at LIBA as well. It is difficult to have favorite among these and it is even more difficult when you can consider them your friends. They treat you with such maturity knowing that you will soon be in a position of responsibility.
College: When you feel faded out, stagnant in you work or even if you feel fresh out of UG and want to work your brains to broaden your perspective on life, people, business and careers LIBA is the right place. Personally being the introvert it usually takes me a few years to start socializing with people. LIBA changed that all round. These two years have been an eye-opener for having some friends whose physical presence and memories I would take with me to the grave. The faculty or facilitators to learning as I would call them helped relate to every learning to certain practical aspects in life. Thus never making a theory or a concept but rather a new discovery in life. The lack of a lavish luxurious infrastructure and smaller variety in food at the canteen can be written off when compare to the social work done by the Jesuit institute. If you want a refreshed or a new perspective of life and grow your knowledge at the same time, by leaving something behind this is the place.

Placement: The Internship/Placements opportunities in our college are very good and meets our expectation. The college has a very good track record of 100% placements for years now. We have companies from various locations visiting our campus.
Faculty: My favorite teacher is Dr.Revathi, who teaches Organisational Behavior and Inter & Intra Personal Dynamics, which are the core papers of HR. The way she teaches the subject by giving examples and interacting with the students, makes her classes extremely Interesting.
College: LIBA- Life Is Beyond Awesome
I would simply term the two years of stay in LIBA, a life changing experience. The kind of learning and exposure that we get from our college is something which makes the students discover their potential and groom themselves to become successful leaders of tomorrow. One very unique thing about LIBA is that, it doesn’t restrict itself with just the class room learning. It encourages the students to be a part of various Clubs, Committees & other Initiatives which serves as a platform for the students to practically experience challenges and learn effective management lessons. These Initiatives greatly complement our class room learning as we are able to practically implement it real-time. True to its Vision of providing a quality education which always emphasises on Excellence & Ethics, LIBA always takes pride in giving to the society not only Competent managers, but socially responsible and excellent Leaders. So I would advice the aspirants to prepare hard for the Interview process and get into LIBA and make best use of the two years, to make yourselves a better person.
