The Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM) offers a post-graduate diploma and fellowship program in management studies. The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is its flagship program. All PGDM admissions at LBSIM Delhi are determined only by entrance, which includes CAT, XAT, and GMAT scores. The first admission stage is determined by the LBSIM cut-off, followed by a Group Discussion and a Personal Interview.

LBSIM Selection Criteria

Candidates are shortlisted based on CAT, XAT, and GMAT scores. Other prerequisites such as past academic standing and employment experience (if any) also need to be submitted.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for the Group Discussion, Extempore, Written Analysis Test, and Personal Interview.
Final selection will be based on 60% of CAT/XAT/GMAT results and 40% of prior academic performance, professional experience, written ability tests, group discussion, and personal interview scores.

Placement: The college has a student managed internship and placement cell. The internship offers are aplenty for both marketing and HR branches, though finance seems to suffer and operations doing all right. The internship work is given on the basis of company requirement and enthusiasm of candidate. Stipend offered has gone up to 1.5 lambs, while average being around Rs10000. As for placements, there was 100% placement last year and is also expected this year. The companies coming on campus are good but many marketing companies tend to come for sales trainee and not management trainee. The profiles offered are sometimes lower than what an mba qualifies for but overall the college is performing quite well
