Environment

Students from a wide range of backgrounds are admitted to the college. The student body includes both first-generation college students and the offspring of seasoned professionals. All of the college's students, regardless of background, are given a supportive and educational environment. Because of the atmosphere at the college, even students from the lowest socioeconomic backgrounds are inspired to strive for excellence. The College is situated on the expansive campus known as Jnanadweepa. It has all the amenities of a modern facility, including large classrooms, a reading hall, a well-stocked library, a reference and research area, a ladies' room, a gymkhana, a conference hall, and the Kattyayan Amphitheater. The Thorale Bajirao Peshwe Sabhagruha auditorium, which is well-equipped, and a sizable canteen are located on campus. The entire college campus is interconnected with Fiber Optic Network having 24 hours access to internet via Leased Line. Wi-Fi facility is also available on Campus. A well laid path circumnavigating the campus offers an idyllic walk amidst trees and flowering plants. Jnanpath as it is called is a heaven in a city starved of open spaces.

Library

The college is proud of its first-rate library resources, which include a reading hall, acquisition, reference, and home lending sections. For pupils who are visually impaired, the library has launched a "Braille Section." Teachers and students can access the library's database through the OPAC Online Public Access Catalogue. Furthermore, the library offers access to reputable online databases such as ART STOR, J-Gate, CRISIL, EBSCO, Proquest, World E-book Library, Jnanaprabha e-portal, and UGC N-List E resources. The Library provides an option for external membership as well.

National Service Scheme (NSS)

The college has a diverse NSS Unit that encourages the development of the students into responsible citizens of the society. Students under the guidance of Professors are actively involved in a number of programs that are carefully monitored by the NSS Unit of University of Mumbai.

National Cadet Corps (NCC)

The College has an active Army and Naval wings for both men and women. Aspirants to a career in the defence services will find it rewarding to join the NCC.

Cultural Committee and Talent Academy

The cultural needs of the students are taken care of through various activities such as dramatics, music, dance etc. by the cultural Committee The college encourages and support festivals organized by students. The college hosts fests such as – Navrang, Gandharva and Chrysalis have become very popular among the students. A Talent Academy is constituted to unfold the hidden talents of the students. Workshops are conducted in creative arts to nurture and develop talents of the students.
