• To get admission to the B.Tech course the student needs to clear the JEE Mains exam with a very good score 
• Next, the student needs to participate in the counseling session.
• The final selection is done based on the merit of the counseling at Anna University/JIT

B.Tech

To get admission to B.Tech the student needs to clear the JEE Mains exam with very good marks. To get eligible for the course they first have to get a 45% in 10+2 with PCM. The course is full-time mode with a duration of 4 years for regular and 3 years for lateral. The B.Tech program is offered in the following specializations:

Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)

Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Electronics and Communication Engineering

For different categories, the minimum marks required are -45% (General category), 40% (Backward class including backward class Muslim), 40% (MBC and DNC), and 40% (SC/ST/SCA).
