ISME Bangalore Placement Cell is unique in its operations and was created to strengthen industry-institution links. It helps students find jobs and get support. To bring out the best in students, it involves counselling in academics, careers, jobs, further studies, extra and co-curricular activities, sports, games, fests, Industry-Interface activities, etc. Past five years have shown a dramatic rise in placement record.
In-house trainers and industry specialists lead pre-placement training. We chose our teachers from professional bodies and those who can modify students’ personalities to meet industrial needs. Industry executives organise career counselling and pre-placement training, while the placement cell informs students of vacancies. Students also learn success factors. Infosys and Deloitte require superior English scores; Mahindra Satyam requires aptitude and reasoning scores; and SBI Life selects candidates based on online English, Data sufficiency, and Psychometry tests. Pre-placement training teams teach students about selection and how to handle interviews on campus.
ISMS guides students via a structured placement procedure to land them in top firms. When students enrol and start first semester classes, management assesses their skills and takes steps to improve them. ISMS teaches communication, presentation, and project management.
In the second semester, management reassesses student skills and provides need-based training. Students receive interest-based training in the third semester. This semester includes pre-placement workshops and interview-specific training. ISMS management oversees all aspect of personality development, academic success, and practical learning throughout placement. By the fourth semester, students are ready for campus interviews and placement.
Thus, all students are hired by top organisations with high salaries.
