About ISB Hyderabad
Rajat Gupta and Anil Kumar who are known as the two senior McKinsey & Company employees who have established the private Indian School of Business (ISB) in late 2001. ISB is said to be the first business school in India to receive accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). However, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has not granted accreditation to ISB because the organization has opted not to do so. According to the Financial Times 2015 Global MBA Rankings, ISB is currently rated 33rd in the world.
The Indian School of Business (ISB) grew from the demand for an Asian world-class business school. The founders, some of the brightest minds in business and academia, recognised the growing Asian countries’ leadership demands.
The Indian School of Business (ISB) is a private business school with campuses in Hyderabad and Mohali, Punjab. The institute was founded in 2001. AMBA, EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) have all awarded ISB Hyderabad the 100th Triple Crown accreditation. The Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2022 place the institute at number 32.
Postgraduate programs in Management, Management for Working Professionals, Management for Senior Executives, and Management for Family Businesses are available at the institution. In addition, the school offers ISB’s Advanced Management Programs in five specializations. It is the more established campus, covering an area of 260 acres (110 hectares), was planned by Vikram Lall, and was founded in 2001. In addition to the academic core, there are four student villages with a combined capacity of 130 to 210 students. The Indian Green Building Council has granted certification to the Hyderabad campus.
Campus in Mohali
The Post-Graduate Programme (PGP) of ISB and other short-term executive education programmes are offered at the new Mohali campus, which was opened on April 14, 2012. Under the direction of Aaron Schwarz, Perkins Eastman Architects created the campus. The campus has Wi-Fi equipped throughout. The learning resource centre (LRC), faculty offices, lecture halls, and an atrium that can accommodate 500 people are all located in the academic block.
