Placements of IIT Patna
The 2024 placement season at IIT Patna has shown promising results, especially for students across BTech, MTech, and MSc programs. So far the average package offered for BTech graduates stands at INR 17 LPA, while MTech and MSc programs have seen average packages of INR 15 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively. For placement rates, BTech students achieved a rate of 77.92%, while MTech students saw 61.01%. It’s important to note that these rates will likely increase as the placement drive is ongoing, so these numbers may rise after final offers are made. In Phase 1 of the 2024 placement drive, 147 students were successfully placed with an average package of INR 22.23 LPA. Additionally, 32 students received impressive offers with annual packages exceeding INR 30 LPA. For those in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), the placements were particularly strong, with an average package reaching INR 27.60 LPA. These figures indicate the institute's growing talent and its industry relations.
