13 December, 2024 : JEE Main 2025 Session 1 registration for IIT Madras admissions to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses has closed. The exams will be held from January 22 to 31, 2025. For BTech admissions, the JEE Advanced 2025 exam is scheduled for May 18, 2025, with applications opening in April.

IIT Madras (IITM)Cutoff
Admission to IIT Madras is based on various national-level entrance exams for UG and PG courses. It accepts JEE Advanced scores for its B.Tech program which is followed by JoSAA counselling rounds. JEE Advanced 2025 will be held on Sunday, 18th May, 2025. The application forms will be released in April 2025.
The IIT Madras JEE Advanced 2024 cutoff for B.Tech CSE has been released for the General Category. The highest cutoff rank is for the CSE branch as it is considered to be the most desirable B.Tech specialization. The first and the last round closing ranks of JEE Advanced for CSE was 159.

IIT Madras Cutoff 2024: Category-wise JAM 2024 Cutoff
IIT Madras JAM Cutoff 2024 has been released. The JAM cutoff for the General Category in 2024 varies depending on the course. For Biotechnology, the cut-off is 44.46. Chemistry has a cut-off of 25.38, while Economics and Mathematics have cut-offs of 24.64 and 11.22, respectively. Mathematical Statistics has a cut-off of 23.03, Geology is 33.09, and Physics is 19.63. The overall IIT Madras JAM 2024 cutoff for the general category ranges from 11.22 to 44.46.
