IIT Guwahati Placements 2024
In Summary

The IIT Guwahati Placements for 2024 concluded with a 71% placement rate, a decrease of 7.04% from the previous year's 78.04%. This year, 1124 out of 1584 eligible students were placed, compared to 1112 out of 1425 in 2023.
The Highest Domestic Package increased to Rs. 2.05 CPA, while the Highest International Package fell from Rs. 2.40 crore in 2023 to Rs. 1.9 CPA. However, the IIT Guwahati Average Package for the B.Tech remains at Rs. 25.75 LPA.
Furthermore, 466 recruiters participated, including top companies like Google, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, and JP Morgan. Recruiters had offered 229 PPOs, out of which 189 were accepted. Notably, 102 students secured packages above Rs. 50 LPA.
IIT Guwahati's 2024 placement drive saw 102 students achieve packages above 50 LPA, alongside recruitment by 14 PSUs. Placement success was almost equal across genders, with 68% of female students placed, specifically 220 out of 325, and 70% of male students placed, specifically 878 out of 1259.
