IIT Guwahati M.Des Admissions are based on the CEED score, which is conducted by IISc Bangalore. Candidates must qualify for the CEED 2024 to get admitted to this course. After qualifying for the exam, IIT Guwahati will shortlist students based on their CEED scores and graduation merits. If selected, the candidates will be contacted for document verification and other requirements.
The M.Des program offers discplines in M.Des in Design and M.Des in Electronic Product Design. The duration of the program is 2 years.

IIT Guwahati M.Des Admissions 2024: How to Apply
IIT Guwahati Admission for M.Des requires certain criteria must be fulfilled to become eligible for the course. Follow the below guideline to apply for IIT Guwahati M.Des Program.
Candidates must participate and qualify for the CEED 2024 exam.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for counseling Process.
During the counseling, candidate must choose the desired course.
Fill out the IIT Guwahati admission form along with CEED 2024 score and necessary details on the college's official website.
After the form submission, pay the application fees.
IIT Guwahati will shortlist the candidates based on their CEED 2024 score and Graduation merits.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for the PI and written test (Based on the course requirements).
If Selected, pay the required admission Fees for the program and complete the registration process through verification process and required necessities.

Candidate must have graduated with 60 % in relevant 4-year B.Tech/ BE degree with 6.0 CPI on a 10-Point Scale. Relaxation of 0.5 CPI (5% marks) for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.
