About IIT Gandhinagar
The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, commonly referred to as IIT Ahmedabad, came into existence in the academic year 2008 as one of the eight new IITs. The sole institution from Gujarat to be listed among the top 1,000 institutions in the study is IITGN.
IIT Ahmedabad has been granted the recognition an institute of national importance by the Government of India. The institute has been approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
The IIT Ahmedabad Ranking is 33 granted by NIRF for the year 2021. The main aim of establishing this college has been to create a premier institution to impart knowledge at multiple levels of education.
