IIT Delhi offers four-year bachelor programs in 12 major specializations. The institute’s flagship project ranked second in the NIRF 2020 ranking. The registration of IIT Delhi B. Tech is based on the marks obtained by candidates in JEE Advanced 2021 exam. The entrance exam was expected to be held on July 3, 2021. Applicants can start applying for the exam from the fourth week of July 2021. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the examination got postponed and there is no specified date yet. The cutoff rank for the JEE Advanced Examination remained to be 105 for B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering at IIT Delhi. The admission criteria for admission to this program required a valid score in JEE Advanced Exam after having qualified JEE Advanced Exam. The final selection will be done based on JoSAA Counseling procedure. JoSAA declares the opening and the closing rank of each specializations offered by IIT Delhi right after the declaration of JEE Exams. Admission to Integrated B. Tech at IIT Delhi

The institute offers Integrated B. Tech and M. Tech which is a dual degree program. Candidates seeking admission to this program must ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria defined by the institute.

Eligibility

• For admission to Integrated B. Tech + M. Tech, candidates must have passed 12^th class from a recognized board.
• They must have completed 12^th class with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Eligibility

• Candidates seeking admission to M. Tech must possess a B. Tech/ B. E., M. Sc, MCA, MBBS, M. Pharm, B. Pharm degree securing at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
• Candidates must also possess this degree in the relevant field in the qualifying examination.
• Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given a 5% relaxation.

Admission Procedure of M. Tech and Integrated M. Tech

• Candidates will be given admission based on their performance in the GATE entrance examination.
• B. Tech graduates of IIT securing at least 8 CGPA will be exempted from the GATE Exam score requirement.
• COAP will allocate seats for candidates seeking admission to the M. Tech program of IIT Delhi.
• IIT graduates will be selected based on their performance in personal interview rounds conducted by the institute.

Admission to MS (R) at IIT Delhi

IIT Delhi offers an MS (R) program which is of 2 years of duration. The program is offered in full-time mode and the part-time mode will have 3 years of duration. The program is offered under 9 specializations. The specializations are Applied Mechanics, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology, and Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management.

Eligibility

• Candidates seeking admission must possess a B.E./B. Tech/ M.Sc. degree securing at least 60% marks from a recognized university.
• Candidates must possess a valid score in the GATE entrance examination.

Admission Procedure of MS (R) at IIT Delhi

• Candidates will be given admission based on their performance in the GATE Exam, along with a written test conducted by IIT Delhi followed by an interview.
• Candidates with a B. Tech/B.E. or M. Sc degree with at least 75% (70% for SC/ST/Physically handicapped) marks along with a valid score in GATE Exam will be offered Direct admission.

Admission to M. Sc at IIT Delhi

• Candidates seeking admission must possess a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Candidates must also secure at least 55% marks in aggregate.

Admission Procedure of M. Sc. At IIT Delhi

• Candidates will be shortlisted and offered admission based on their score in IIT JAM in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.

• Candidates will be considered eligible for the Personal interview round only if they secure as per the minimum cutoff of CAT Exam.

The Institute of Technology Delhi offers a Ph. D. program at the doctorate level. Admission to this program is based on candidates’ performance in GATE, and NET entrance exams followed by their performance in personal interviews.

• Candidates must possess a degree in M. Tech/M. E./M. Sc./MBA securing at least 60% marks in aggregate.
• Candidates with B.E./B. Tech with at least 70% marks in the relevant discipline.

Admission Procedure of Ph. D. at IIT Delhi

• Candidates must possess a minimum marks of 300 to be shortlisted for the personal interview process.
