About IIM Jammu: In Jammu and Kashmir, India, there is a public, independent business school called the Indian Institute of Management Jammu (IIM Jammu). It is the newest Indian Institute of Management founded in 2016. By the 2017 Indian Institutes of Management Act, IIM Jammu is currently (DBA) in Management.
IIM Jammu received the NIRF 2024 ranking of 42. The 2-year IIM Jammu flagship MBA program, which accepts applicants via the CAT, is well-known. The cut-off for admission to IIM Jammu is 90 percentile for males and 87 percentile for females. However, through CAP, there is a greater probability that candidates with scores over the 92 percentile will be selected for a personal interview.

About IIM Jammu Admission 2024: IIM Jammu admits students to its MBA program based on CAT scores, followed by a personal interview via CAP. The CAP threshold for the MBA program is 94 percentile overall, while the SAP cutoff is 91 percentile for men and 89 for women.
IIM Jammu also provides an Executive MBA program for working professionals, and candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks and three years of work experience to apply.
IIM Jammu admits 120 students to its 5-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM). The institute has also published the admission policy for IPM admission. Students seeking admission must take the JIPMAT exam. For the final selection, a merit list will be produced based on JIPMAT results and gender diversity. For the general category, the JIPMAT cutoff is the 50th percentile.
IIM Jammu Admission Process 2025
IIM Jammu accepts admission based on the entrance exam. Students seeking admission to IIM Jammu should have to meet the cutoff of the desired course. Students who want to take full-time PhD courses can appear in any entrance exam if they have a postgraduate degree from any IIM with a minimum 6.0 CGPA. Then, they can directly apply for admission and appear for the personal interview round if they get shortlisted. Students need to follow the below-mentioned steps to get admission to IIM Jammu
- Students need to visit the official website of IIM Jammu - www.iimj.ac.in/. On the official website, the student must select the desired course, mention the proper information, and complete the documentation work. If the student is applying for an MBA then they only have to register on the official website of the CAT - iimcat.ac.in.
- Students should have to appear in the required entrance exam for that course. They also need to meet the cutoff of that course released by the IIM Jammu.
- After getting shortlisted the students need to appear for the personal interview round.
- After the completion of all the rounds, a final list is prepared by the IIM Jammu based on academic profile, work experience, performance in the entrance exam, Gender, and more.
- After receiving the admission form the student needs to pay the admission fees within the given period to confirm their seats. The admission rates for the MBA class of 2022–2024 are shown in the table below:
