IIM Udaipur Placements 2024: The placement report for 2024-25 for IIMU is out and shows a very positive trend. The largest recruitment surge was observed in the BFSI ( Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) department. Consulting and Strategy was offered the 2nd largest number of roles, while the Sales, Marketing, and Business Development cohorts ranked 1st. A total of 291 out of 313 students were placed via campus and the others opted out of placement for varied reasons such as entrepreneurship and family commitments.
As per sector cutoff, the BFSI sector leads with 87 placements, while the ITES sector placed 67 candidates, followed by the Manufacturing, Engineering, and Energy sectors with 44 placements. Sales and Marketing roles were most highly placed with 89 roles and Consulting and Strategy followed with 49 roles. General Management roles gained popularity and had 47 placements in the same.
According to the job locations the placements could be marked in the top 3 positions. Most placements were from Mumbai, marking 45 placements, followed by 44 placements to Bangalore and 28 to Gurugram. A couple of startups as well as a considerable number of well-established, thriving companies as well as market giants collectively made the placements a success for the past year.
