The deadline for CAT 2024 applications has been extended September 20, 2024.

The overall qualifying CAT 2023 Cut off percentile for general category candidates is 85 and sectional is 80, 75, 75 for VARC, DILR, and QA respectively. The CAT cutoff in 2023 for students in the General category fluctuated from 99 to 100 for the best IIMs, including IIM Bangalore, in previous years. IIMs accept the CAT as the primary exam for admission; however, they do not publish CAT Cutoffs in the public domain and make them only available to applicants who have taken the exam via account login. IIM Bangalore Cutoff 2024

The selection process at IIM Bangalore is two-phased, both of them are mentioned below:

Phase 1: involves passing the minimal qualifying CAT Cut Off and WAT-PI shortlisting. IIM Bangalore will use the CAT 2024 score, class 10 and class 12 marks, and job experience to determine which candidates would advance to the WAT/ PI round. Review the CAT 2024 IIM Selection Procedure.

Phase 2: Shortlisted candidates in Phase 2 are required to participate in the online WAT and PI rounds for final selection based on a variety of criteria. CAT 2023 scores, WAT, and PI will each be given a weighting of 25%, 10%, and 35% in the final shortlisting.
The WAT has a 30-minute time limit, and IIM-B will choose the topic and timings.

IIM Bangalore Cutoff 2024: Year-Wise Percentile For CAT

IIM Bangalore admission 2024 will take place in two stages. Candidates who have passed the CAT 2024 are shortlisted for the writing ability test (WAT) and personal interview (PI) at the first stage. Candidates are to be considered for the next step if they score over the minimal cutoffs in the sectional percentile rankings, the overall percentile rank, and possessing a positive (higher than zero) raw score in each section of the CAT 2023. Although the minimal percentile ranks for the 2024 IIM Bangalore CAT are not yet known, they are anticipated to be comparable to the ranks from the previous year. IIM Bangalore Admission Criteria Phase 1: Qualifying CAT 2024 Cut off and PI Shortlisting

IIM Bangalore Admission Criteria- Phase 2

The average of the interviewers’ ratings will be taken into account at this phase. The score awarded by an impartial assessor for the substance and manner will be taken into consideration during the personal interview. Phase 2 of the IIM Bangalore Selection Process involves the following steps:
