Indian Institute of Management, Amritsar was founded in the year 2015. It is one of the pioneer management institutes in India. The admission procedure at the Indian Institute of Management, Amritsar is purely entrance-based. The university offers courses such as MBA, Executive MBA, MSc, Integrated BTech + MBA and PhD courses. The minimum eligibility criteria that the candidates should meet are as follows:
- First Class, 60% or 6.0 CPI or CGPA in a qualifying degree awarded by the university or the institute.
- The degree should be either a Bachelor's or Master's degree or any other equivalent degree, preference is given to a degree that is associated with management, mathematics, computer science/application, or any other related field.
- Candidates should have a good aptitude in Computer Science or Mathematics. The candidate should have appeared for either of these tests CAT/GATE/GMAT/GRE and have their scores ready.
- The selected candidates will be called in for the personal interview round.
The shortlisted candidates will be appearing for the Personal Interview round. The score obtained after the Personal Interview is a combination of scores for multiple parameters which is listed below:

IIM Amritsar MBA Admission 2025
The MBA Program at IIM Amritsar is a 2-year program that accepts applicants depending on their CAT results. IIM Amritsar provides an MBA in Business Analytics and an MBA in Human Resources in addition to its MBA (General). Candidates must have completed their undergraduate degree with at least a 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ST candidates) in order to fulfill the eligibility for the MBA Program. The total cost of tuition is INR 12.50 lakh.
