About Himalayan University
Himalayan University (HU) was founded in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, by the government in 2013. approved by the UGC, the University Grants Commission. Himalayan University provides courses in the arts, commerce, science, law, health sciences, agriculture, and education at the undergraduate, graduate, certificate, and diploma levels. The University has received approval from the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It has partnerships with a number of foreign universities, including KIMEP University, Georgia Technical University, and Dicle University. The university has obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification.
