Government College of Technology Admission
- Admission in GCT or Government College of Technology coimbatore is based on merit for B.E. program and for M.E., it is based on the TANCET or GATE Score.
- Candidates interested in seeking admission in GCT need to follow the single window counselling held by the Anna University, Chennai.
- For admission in B.E., candidates must have studied physics, chemistry and math and have passed 10+2 with a minimum 50%.
- For admission in M.E., candidates must have done their graduation in engineering and have qualified TANCET or GATE.
- Candidates can apply for the courses by visiting and registering themselves on the “TNEA” website.
- Once the given columns are filled and documents submitted, they would need to make a payment of the application fee.
- Those students who are selected will be called for counselling and once they have been admitted, they will be offered an admission letter.

Placement: Placements are very good for IT, CSE,ECE depts. If you use your first three years correctly, surely you will be placed in the beginning of the fourth year in a good company with high package.
Faculty: Teaching quality is normal. Though staffs are well knowledge, we need to acquire them by going in person and asking from them.
