GCET is affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University, Lucknow, and was established in 1999. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses like B.tech (9 branches), MBA, and MCA. Galgotia College of Engineering and Technology’s B.tech ( Electrical and Electronic Communication and Mechanical Engineering) was recently accredited by NBA for 2018-19 to 2019-20.

Few important points to keep in mind before taking admission to this college:

Application mode can be both online and offline

10+2 in the science stream with a minimum of 50% marks is required for B. Tech programs. B.E. / B. Tech degree in a relevant or allied discipline is required for M. Tech programs.

Any graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks for MBA and MCA programs.

B. Tech candidates are selected on the basis of marks scored in the Galgotias Engineering Entrance Exam (GEEE) or in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) merit

CAT/ MAT / UPSEE is required for candidates applying for MBA and MCA programs as applicable.

For offline mode of registration;

The payment of the fee for walk-in registration can be made either in cash or via DD in the name of ’Galgotias University’ which is to be submitted after filling the form. The candidate will be provided with an inquiry number at the time of registration.

List of documents required for B.tech admissions:

1. Certificate/mark sheet of Class 12th.
2. Certificate/Mark sheets of Class 10th.
3. Character certificate
4. Transfer certificate
5. Migration certificate from Board/University(Not applicable to the candidates who have passed 12th from UP Board/Diploma passed from BTEUP)
6. Gap affidavit for candidates having any gap after qualifying the exam
7. SC/ST/OBC Certificate issued by the competent authority (If applicable)
8. Physical Handicapped/Armed Forces/Freedom Fighter Certificate issued by the competent authority (If applicable)
9. Domicile Certificate of the parents of the candidate of UP who has passed his qualifying exam from another state.
10. Income Certificate of the parents for the candidates who have allotted Fee Waiver Seat (BTech-1st year) in UPSEE counseling.
11. Medical Certificate as per UPSEE-2018 Information Brochure
12. Allotment letter of counseling and rank letter
13. Fee Receipt of the amount deposited during counseling
14. Photocopy of Aadhaar Card
15. Four passport-size photographs
16. Printout of the online Ant Ragging undertaking (Parent & Student) obtained from the website

Note : 

Direct admission is available for students applying under the management quota.

Appearing for GEEE is not mandatory.

UPSEE-qualified candidates can also apply.

Applications filed through GEEE can only be done through online mode.
