FMS Delhi MBA Admission Process
Given below is a detailed stage wise break down of FMS Delhi MBA Admission Process.
Stage 1: Application Process.
- Interested Candidates must start out by filling out the online applications on the institute's official website ( http://www.fms.edu/).
- Applicants must pay the required application fee before the deadline.
Stage 2: Application Screening & Shortlisting
- In this stage, the eligibility and selection criteria is cross verified with the details provided by applicants.
- Applicants are shortlisted based on their academic records and other eligibility requirements.
Stage 3: Discussion on Experience and Statement of Purpose (SOP)
- This stage evaluates the EMBA applicants.
- Applicants might be required to participate in a discussion.
Stage 4: Personal Interview
- For the final round of selection, applicant might be required to appear for a Personal Interview (PI) to secure the seat.
Stage 5: Confirmation of Admission
- Applicant will receive the confirmation via an email.
- Selected candidate must fulfil all the document requirements and fees payment to secure the offer.

FMS Delhi - Faculty of Management Studies , Delhi Cutoff
FMS Delhi Cutoff 2024: CAT cutoff
The general FMS Delhi Cutoff ranges between 98-99 percentile. The FMS Delhi MBA admission is granted after qualifying several phases of selection process and for each phase the cutoff is different. At the initial stage which is followed by a personal interview, the CAT percentile is the cutoff parameter. The final stage cutoff is based on CAT percentile, academic background, extempore, SOP discussion, and personal interview. Candidates are selected for the personal interview based on the composite score set by FMS Delhi. The composite score is a combination of CAT percentile as well as Gender Diversity points. The composite score is generated by giving weightage to the several sections of CAT. VARC is given a weightage of 40% and the other two section are given 30% weightage. Extra 5 points are given to female candidates.
FMS Delhi CAT Exam scores for admission to the MBA course among the various FMS Delhi courses. FMS Delhi CAT Cutoff 2024 is not out yet. The Composite Score for PI Shortlisting for the year 2023 is given in the table below:

Our Summer internships are at par with the IIMs, and our students have a stellar track record of converting these internships into PPOs.
As for the Placements, FMS is in the Top 5 MBA institutes of India for a reason. To play in the Big Leagues, you have to be a Big League Player. FMS is no less as compared to any IIM, and we have a placement record to prove it.
College: FMS is not your average MBA college. Most MBA institutes in India have a culture that is designed to push the students till they crack and perform, whether the students want to or not.

Faculty: Being a Marketing Major, Prof. Harsh Verma is one of the most respected Marketing Professors not only in FMS but across the country. He has several important research publications and award winning books to his name.
Placement: Placements and Alumni Network are the two top strengths of FMS. The college sees some of the best names in the industry for all streams like Marketing, Finance, Consulting etc. The salaries for most visiting companies are in the same bracket as IIM A/B/C. For a batch of around 220, generally 80+ companies visit the campus.
College: FMS has been consistently ranked amongst the Top 5 B-Schools in the country. Set up in 1954, it was one of the first few colleges to offer an MBA degree. That legacy combined with the efforts of brilliant teachers and industry relations have made FMS’ Alumni Network one of the best in India. FMS stands out on multiple aspects:
- Location: Delhi, Part of Delhi University, Great Atmosphere and Living Experience, Access to DU Facilities, Brilliant Exposure due to being in Delhi
- Fees: INR 20,000 for the whole MBA as compared to 15 Lakh+ at IIMs, even those IIMs which stand below FMS in rankings. This factor becomes extremely important in shaping up your lifestyle for 3-5 years after MBA as students from other colleges pay up to 30% of their salary as EMI for their loan.
- Placements: At such a fees, FMS has delivered an average salary package of INR 20 Lakh+ per annum. In some cases, it is as high as almost 70 lakhs (domestic) and 1 crore (international) per annum. It rarely goes below 10-12 lakhs. All companies, irrespective of salary, are top-notch. All placement records in the official report are totally credible (from experience).
- Alum Network: FMS alums occupy some of the top positions in leading companies in the country which acts as a catalyst for a lot of things including guest lectures, placements and even mentorship/help after MBA throughout life.
