Community Institute of Management Studies, widely known as CIMS Bangalore, commenced its inception in the academic year of 2007 by Community Group of Institutions. The institute is recognized by University Grants Commission and was built with the approval of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Government of Karnataka. Community Institute of Management Studies is affiliated to Bangalore University and is also approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It is a private B school that provides PGPM and MBA programs at the postgraduate level.
It has also been given Grade ‘A++’ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The foundation of the institute was laid to impart quality education to the aspiring candidates of the country.
One of the most important aspects of the institute is its infrastructure. Spread over an area of 3 acres, the institute manages to provide all the essential and basic amenities to its students. Basic facilities such as Hostel, Cafeteria, Auditorium, IT Infrastructure, Laboratories, etc. are provided to the students. The classrooms of the institute are well furnished and quite ventilated with a proper seating arrangement.
