College of Vocational Studies (CVS), Delhi Admissions

Admission at the College of Vocational Studies (CVS), Delhi, is done through the Delhi University Common Seat Allocation System (DU CSAS) for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses respectively. The college mainly takes its admission decision on the basis of CUET score and usually, the CUET UG exam is conducted in March and CUET PG in May/June administered by National Testing Agency (NTA).

The process of taking admission commences after declaration of the CUET result, enabling candidates who selected Delhi University in their CUET application form to apply on the DU CSAS portal. Applicants are able to selecting their preference by clicking (choosing) the pair of [College Course]. Seat allocation is done in more than one round in accordance with entrance exam performance, seat availability and category. After receiving a seat, candidates have to accept it, upload the necessary documents, and transfer the fees for admission to finalize the admission place at the college.

Admission Process for 2024

Step 1: Registration for CUET Exam - Interested people are required to register for CUET UG/PG, the entrance test needed to get admission to CVS.

Step 2: Qualifying in the Entrance Exam - After registration, candidates must appear for and qualify in the CUET exam as per the schedule provided by the NTA.

Step 3: DU CSAS Registration and Preference Filling - Candidates getting a success in CUET examination, they have to register in the DU CSAS portal and mention all their preferences for the College of Vocational Studies and the courses.

Step 4: Seat Allocation - Seats are allotted based on the candidates'' CUET marks, desired combination of college and course, category and seat availability etc. Seat assignment is performed in several rounds, and the results can be viewed by the candidates in the CSAS dashboard.

Step 5: Accepting and Finalizing the Seat - Candidates allocated to a seat have to "Accept" the seat up to the deadline. After the seat is accepted, the college confirms the uploaded documents and meeting the eligibility criteria.

Candidates are required to pay admission fee after approval of college administration in order to secure their seat.

The CVS library is a trove of information and has a library of over 53,478 books and 500 bound academic journals. It contains a large selection of reference and multidisciplinary books, in addition to 14 journals and 12 newspapers to address the variety of scholarly demands of students and faculty.
