Bishop Cotton Women's Christian Law College was established in 2002 in Bangalore. It is one of the pioneer institutions offering legal courses exclusively to women in Karnataka state. The college is recognized by the Government of Karnataka and managed by Karnataka central diocese of the church of South India. It has been approved by Bar Council of India (BCI) and is affiliated to Karnataka State Law University. The college offers two courses BA LLB and LLB, both undergraduate programs which lasts five and three years respectively.

Candidates interested in seeking admission in any of the courses offered by Bishop Cotton Women's Christian Law College should meet the eligibility criteria and they will be called for an interview later. Below are the points to be considered when applying for BA LLB or LLB:

Candidates who want to get admission in BA LLB must be between the ages of 17 to 22.

Candidates who have 80% or more in the qualifying exam will be accepted on the spot. Rest will have to go through an interview where they will be selected based on their communication skills, vocabulary, and presence of mind.

Candidates can download the application form from the college website which they can find on the home page.

While filling the application, they would need to fill in the information like name, date of birth, place of birth, nationality, subjects they studied in 10+2 and marks obtained etc. They will also need to paste a passport size photograph in the application form.

Photocopies of all the documents need to be attached. They should fill all the columns as incomplete form will be rejected.
