Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT), Raipur Admissions

Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT), Raipur, offers admissions to Undergraduate (B.E. and Postgraduate (M.Tech.) programs based on national-level entrance exams. The scheme of admission has been planned to fulfil the objectives of merit-based admission and to grant reservations as per government policy.

Admission Process for B.E. Program

Admission to the B.E. The program is done on the basis of the marks obtained from Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CG PET) conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB) or for JEE Main.

The total annual intake is divided into three categories:

State quota out of the total seats is reserved for the candidates of Chhattisgarh State at a rate of 75%.

10% seats are reserved for candidates outside Chhattisgarh.

15% seats are reserved under the Management Quota.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories are provided a 5% relaxation in eligibility criteria.

Admission Process for M.Tech. Program

Admission to the M.Tech. The program is derived from the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) examination score.

Applicants are expected to demonstrate compliance with the eligibility criteria and complete all required forms to establish their admission.

Downloaded and completed the application form with correct data. Attach a recent passport-sized photograph.

Register for the necessary entrance exams (JEE Main, CG PET, or GATE) corresponding to the chosen course.

Become listed to take the exam and aim to pass at the minimum qualifying score.

At the moment of choosing and the above, proceed with the admission by payment of the course fee and the resubmission of the corresponding documents.
