Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering Delhi or Bharati Vidyapeeth Delhi was established in the academic year of 1999. The college is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The establishment of the college took place with the approval of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

The infrastructure of the institute is one of the major aspects considered. The College has an average infrastructure but it manages to provide all the basic amenities and facilities in the college campus. The campus has semi-circular glass buildings that cover most of the area of the college. The campus has Administrative departments, Classrooms, Laboratories, Library, and Projector rooms.
