The Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering is a government-owned engineering college. It is situated in the Bankura district of West Bengal. The college was inaugurated by the former Chief Minister of West Bengal, Jyoti Basu, 19th September, 1998. Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering was the first engineering college in Bankura. It is affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology and it has received its approval by the AICTE. It offers several PG and UG programs in engineering and technology. The accepts online applications from candidates and the whole application procedure is conducted by the WBJEE.
