AMCEC Admission’s Important Dates:

B. Tech Admission at AMCEC:

AMCEC offers 4 years bachelor’s degree in the field of Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Information Science, Electrical and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. For admission in the mentioned courses candidate needs to fulfill the following criteria:

• Candidate needs to have qualified 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subject along with Chemistry/biology/biotechnology/computer science as one of the optional subjects.
• Candidates will be selected on basis of score in JEE Main or KCET followed by counseling.
• Candidates having diploma degree with minimum 45% marks are also eligible to apply.

M.Tech Admission at AMCEC:

The Institute offers 2-year M. Tech degree affiliated to VTU and approved of AICTE. For admission in the course candidate needs to fulfill the following criteria:

• Candidate needs to have B.E or B.Tech Degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for candidates applying through reserved category)
• Candidates also need to have a valid GATE or KPGCET score for admission.
• Candidates with the domicile of Karnataka will get preferences.

MBA and MCA Admission at ACMEC:

For admission in MBA or MCA course at AMCEC candidate needs to have a graduation degree with an aggregate of 50% marks.

• For admission in MCA, course candidate should have a Mathematics or Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Business Mathematics/ Business Statistics/ Computer Programming as a mandatory subject in either 10+2 or graduation.
• Candidates having valid CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA or CMAT score are exempted of KMAT and will also get preference.
• AMC Engineering College also offers Integrated MBA-PGPEM course in association with iDream and for admission on the same candidate needs to have a valid CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA or CMAT Score.
• Candidates can also apply for lateral entry to MBA in AMCEC if have a graduation degree (BCA/B.Sc.) with an aggregate of 50%.
