The UPMSP (Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad released the UP Board 12th Date Sheet on 19th November 2024. The UP 12th Board Exams are to be conducted from 24th February to 12th March 2025. The UP 12th Date Sheet 2025 PDF is available on their official website.
The UP Board has decided the UP 12th exam pattern 2024 for the appearing students. The exam pattern for UP 12th Board Exam 2024 has been released together with the UP 12th Syllabus 2023-2024. The revised UP 12th Exam Pattern 2024 can be found on the state board's official website. Going through the UP 12th Exam Pattern 2024 will help students in preparing well for the exam. The exam pattern includes information about marking scheme, exam duration, and question types and many more important things. Student should divide the whole UP 12th Board Syllabus 2024 according to the exam pattern and then study following it.
The question paper has two sections - Section A and Section B. Section A includes MCQs whereas Section B includes long-form questions (descriptive type questions). Section A has 20 MCQs each holding 1 mark and Section B has short as well as long answer-type questions carrying 50 marks in total.
The theory exam is of 70 marks and the exam duration is 3hrs 15 mins. The 15 minutes are allotted for reading the question paper. The students can refer to the provided table to know about the marking scheme for UP 12th Board Exams:

The UP 12th Board Exam Pattern 2024 for Science stream is released with the syllabus for the same. The exam pattern for Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and Computer includes the question types, marking scheme and the no. of questions asked in UP 12th examinations.
Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics, and Book Keeping are the Commerce subjects whereas History, Political Science, and Geography, are the Arts subjects for the UP 12th Board for which the exam pattern will be released on the official website.
