The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) was established in 1965. The Madhya Pradesh Board is responsible for managing secondary and higher secondary education. The main functions of the Madhya Pradesh Board are to design the curriculum, conduct the Board examinations, grant affiliation to public and private schools, announce the Board results, award merit certificates and scholarships etc.
