CISCE conducts ISC board exams every year for class 12 students. ISC exams are held in Feb/March every year. All students who have cleared class 11th from CISCE schools can apply for ISC 12th exams. Council sets the ISC syllabus and exam pattern. Students must also download and practice ISC previous year question papers for better preparation of exams. ISC admit card is issued to students 15-20 days before exams.

The CISCE is tentative to issue the ISC Date Sheet 2025 in December 2024 first week on the board's official website. ISC 2025 exams are tentative to be held from 12th February to 4th April in offline mode via pen and paper. The ISC syllabus 2025 has been released by the board along with the exam pattern. Students must visit the official website to be aware of the chapters/topics to be focused for the exam. Students are also suggested to solve and practice the ISC sample papers and previous years' question papers to know the question types in the exam. Almost a population of 1 lakh students take the ISC exams yearly. If they want to score highly they must cover the complete ISC syllabus with enough time left for revision. The exam duration is 3 hours and starts at 2pm.

The ISC date sheet 2024 was released by the Council on 8th December 2023 and the exams were conducted from 12th February to 4th April 2024.

ISC Board Exam Pattern 2025

Students must go through the ISC class 12 exam pattern. It makes one familiar with the marking scheme, duration of the exam, chapter-wise distribution of marks, types of questions asked in the exam, etc. One can plan on 'which questions to answer first and 'complete the paper timely' upon knowing the exam pattern of ISC 12th. The ISC 12th board exams are held once in February-March.

ISC 12th Syllabus 2025

It is important to know the complete syllabus of different subjects before beginning with the preparation of the ISC 12th examinations. The board has released the ISC 12th syllabus 2024 for all on the official website. The ISC syllabus mentions all the chapters and topics to be covered for the exam. ISC 12th Admit Card 2025

The ISC 12th Admit Card 2025 will be released by the CISCE in February 2025. Students must get their admit card from the respective schools and take it with them to exam hall on all examination days. If not then students will not be allowed to take the exam.

ISC Compartmental Exams

After the conduction of the ISC board examination, the results are declared a few months later. Once the results are out, the board releases the timetable for the ISC compartment exam. Students who fail to secure pass certificates are permitted to appear for the compartmental examination in one subject in which they have not secured the pass mark. However, the students should have secured passing marks in English (compulsory) and three other subjects in the ISC examination. The entries of all the students are submitted online to the Council by the Head of the concerned school.

Along with the theory part, scoring well in practical exams is also necessary to score well in that subject. Practical work promotes experiential learning. ISC conducts practical exams for subjects such as Art, Physics, Indian Music, Home Science, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science and Fashion Designing.

The ISC Result 2025 is tentative to be released by the CISCE in May 2025 first week on the board's official website. Students will be able to look up their ISC Result 2025 on the official website by using the course code, their UID, and index no.
