CBSE 12th Result 2025: Release Date, How to Check CBSE Class 12 Results

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is scheduled to release the CBSE class 12th result on its official website, www.cbse.gov.in. The CBSE 12th results 2025 are expected to be released around May 2025 tentatively. To check their results online, students can also visit other official websites such as results.cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in. Students can also check their results via other mediums such as the UMANG App, DigiLocker and SMS. Students can check their results by using their credentials such as Roll Number, school number, Admit Card Number etc. If a student is unaware of the credentials mentioned above, they can check it on their admit cards. CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2025 begin on 15th February and conclude on 4th April 2025.

The board will declare CBSE Class 12 Result 2025 for the three streams (Science, Commerce, and Arts) at the same time. The CBSE 12th Result 2025 mentions the student's name, date of birth, roll number, marks gained in each subject, grades, along with other important information. It should be kept in mind that the result available online is preliminary. Students will get their original mark sheets from their respective schools. Once the Class 12th Results are released, Supplementary exams will be conducted by the CBSE. The Supplementary exams are conducted for students who are not able to pass their Class 12th Board exams. The results of the Class 12th Supplementary exams will be released in July 2025. Students need to get 33% overall (in the internal assessment as well as the class 12 board examination combined) in each subject to be considered as passing in the CBSE 12th Board Exams 2025. For the academic session 2023-24, the CBSE 12th result 2024 was declared on 13th May 2024. The CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2024 was held from 15th Feb to 2nd April 2024.

The CBSE Board is expected to tentatively release the Class 12th Board results in the second week of May 2025. CBSE Class 12th Results 2025: Passing Criteria

An aggregate of 33% is required by the students to pass the Class 12th Board exams. The CBSE Board criteria for passing the Class q12th Board exams are listed below:

• Considering all five subjects, the student must score a higher grade than ‘E’ (i.e.,  33% marks).
• Students should score at least 33% marks in both the theory and practical.

CBSE is tentative to declare the revaluation/rechecking result 2025 during June 2025. To get your CBSE 12th results verified, students are required to make a fixed payment of Rs.500 for each subject. However, those wanting their answer sheets to be revaluated are required to make a payment for Rs.100 for each subject.
