WBPSC Clerkship Selection Process

WBPSC Clerkship 2024 Exam will be held in two stages: Part I (Objective) and Part II (Conventional - Written). The Commission will conduct Part I Exam first. Only a limited number of candidates who will qualify in Part I Exam will be allowed to appear in Part II Exam. Candidates must qualify in Part I and Part II before their computer knowledge and typing ability will be tested.

WBPSC Clerkship Exam Pattern

Three phases are in the West Bengal Public Service Commission Clerkship Examination: an objective test(Prelims), a descriptive test(Mains), and a computer and typing test. The WBSC Clerkship test pattern is described in detail below for each of these stages.

WBPSC Clerkship Prelims Exam Pattern

WBPSC Clerkship Part-I Exam carries 100 marks having 100 Multiple-choice Choice Questions, and the subjects included in the WBPSC Clerkship Part 1 Exam are English, General Studies, and Arithmetic. The duration of the WBPSC Clerkship Part-I examination will be 1 hour and 30 minutes (90 minutes). For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be marked as a penalty.
